I love the art of books, the magic when you open it in cold nights when you dive into a new world  in front  of you word by word, line by line and chapter by chapter. Is this generation still reading? 'Coz seams to me that all is just a computer net. Some kids today have no clue how to check a book out of the library!
Do I have favourite books? Of course.... but it would take a while to list all so here are just a few that made my life better. All Isabel Allende books, Ana Karenina by Leo Tolstoy, Papillon by Henri Charriere, Hiroshima mon amour by Marguerite Duras, L'Irreguliere ou mon itineraire Chanel by Edmonde Charles-Roux, Die Huterin der Gewurze by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni.... and of course many many many more................................
Are you a reader? What books changed your life?
I started to read I Gave You All I Had by Zoe Valdes. But I read it in German. - Dir Gehort mein Leben...
What do you read now?

  1. omg I am SUCH a reader! I have been really into Anne Rice lately (awesome vampire novels), but lately fashion biographies and adventure novels are my cup of tea... Marilyn Monroe's biography really changed my perspective on her. Dan Brown always keeps you guessing and turning the pages. I love the feeling of being completely engulfed in another aspect of life... be it fact or fiction ;) great post!
